The weather has been BEAUTIFUL here in Bama, so we took full advantage of the sunshine this morning and played the day away at the park (and a little bit at the library). The kids had a great time playing together. Right after I gave them the ten-minute warning before leaving for home, I caught them having fun together on the slides and wanted to share a bit of it.

Welcome Jackson Gabriel!
We are so excited to welcome Nancy and Matthew's new baby boy, Jackson Gabriel Reynolds, to the family! He was born on Monday at 4:17pm and was 8 pounds and 20.75 inches. Everyone is home tonight and doing very well! Here's a little tribute to Jackson's first 24 hours:

The Melting Pot
Nicole celebrated her BIG 30th BIRTHDAY this week, so we decided to celebrate all. week. long! We began the celebration with a trip to her favorite restaurant, The Melting Pot, with the kids in tow. I must admit that I had only considered all the positives about fondue with toddlers -- they'd love the cheese... they'd adore the chocolate... I just hadn't considered the logistical nightmare of a table filled with a pot of hot oil surrounded by plates of raw meat. Ah well, it worked out (and, miraculously, none of us got food poisoning!). :)
